Centre Regional Development Agency has signed Cooperation Agreements with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Orhei and Hincesti

It was held the fourth meeting of the Regional Working Group (RWG) which was attended by representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Chisinau, Orhei and Hînceşti, Centre RDA specialists, GIZ advisors and an international expert.

Within the meeting, Centre Regional Development Agency concluded Cooperation Agreements with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Orhei and Hincesti.

The concluded Agreements provide for the development of collaboration between Centre Regional Development Agency and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, Hincesti and Orhei subsidiary in order to carry out activities aimed at improving and streamlining their participation in socio-economic development of Centre Region, promoting and supporting business in the territory.

It was established that will be jointly organized a series of events and activities with regional consultative-information aspect in order to develop the capacities of regional actors and identify regional development project ideas.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, Hincesti and Orhei subsidiaries will be involved in promotional activities and implementation of public - private partnerships. Also, it will be carried out activities to promote socio-economic potential of the development region.

During the meeting, members of the RWG, presented the activities undertaken during the first quarter of 2015 under the component 'Complementary private sector support', being established that all the activities planned for this period were completed successfully. Also, it was presented and approved the action plan for the second quarter of this year, which includes the organization of a training module and a regional roundtable for the development of capacities of private sector representatives. At the same time, the members of the RWG determined the concept and future seminar topics, which will contribute to capacity development in public procurement of private sector representatives from the Centre region.

Within the project Modernization of Local Public Services, the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction in cooperation with Centre Regional Development Agency (Centre RDA) and the German Development Cooperation through GIZ, implement the sub-component 'Complementary private sector support', which aims at supporting private sector representatives. These activities take place with the financial support of the European Union.
